The president is elected by the Steering Committee of ANHN for a period of no more than two terms, each term is four years. The duty of the president is to lead the Steering Committee and plan for the program of the Annual Meeting.

The steering committee consists of not less than nine nor more than fifteen members (including the President), each to serve no more than two terms, each term for four years. The duty of the Steering Committee is to oversee the operation and planning for the development of ANHN.

The President raises funds together with the Steering Committee to maintain the operation of the Secretariat and the ANHN web-page. Financial reports are delivered to the Steering Committee during the Annual Meeting.
